Danyelle Jacob

Born and raised in Southern California, Danyelle has always been so intrigued by the power of storytelling. She saw a footing opportunity by being the first in her family to further her education at a collegiate level. Danyelle earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Affairs at the University of La Verne. During her undergraduate time, she leveled in multiple leadership opportunities in her student employment positions, extracurricular activities and community involvement. 

 

Danyelle has used her critical thinking and strategic writing skills to put her foot in the door into the PR and marketing world. Currently, Danyelle has joined the MPRM Communications team after interning Summer 2022. She has come on board full time as an Account Coordinator where she is working on award submissions for Disney Television Studio, Disney Branded Television, ABC, and HULU titles, publicity for various unscripted television series such as NBC's unscripted series 'American's Ninja Warrior,' 'Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge,' and 'The Voice,' publicity for films releasing via film festivals, VOD and theatrical, and different entertainment corporations.

 

Previously, Danyelle was the Client and Media Relations Director at Gal Media Group. In this role, she has worked with multiple brands to help them create more brand awareness and exposure in various niches within lifestyle: fashion, beauty, food, beverage, home, wellness and fitness. She has worked with entities such as BodyArmor, Lonely Ghost, Fawn Design, Thread Wallets, Home Sort, Laced Hair Extensions, Gigi Pip, Bailey Brown from Align, Simply Sam Organization + Design, San Diablo Churros, and more. She has ghost-written articles, coordinated and launched campaigns, helped plan activation events and partnership opportunities, strategized influencer exposure and landed press and media coverage for top-tier outlets. 

 

Prior to fully jumping into the professional PR world, she spent her senior year of her undergraduate studies working with a scholarship foundation located in her hometown, the Esperanza Scholarship Foundation, to revamp their social media outlets and publicize them to the community of their efforts to increase the amount of donors and scholarship applicants. To this day she continues to devote her free time to this foundation. 

 

She sees there being so many opportunities to grow–not only for herself but for those around her. She has been adaptable in the midst of a global pandemic and does not let anything stop her from making a difference by connecting with others and now starting to achieve her dreams. She loves seeing projects of hers come to life and being the focal point of the creative strategy behind those projects. 

 

Danyelle has recently received her Master of Arts degree in Public Relations and Advertising at University of Southern California.
